Unified model access
Connect multiple providers behind familiar API interfaces and a shared service configuration.
FOUNDATION MODEL & TOKEN SERVICES
A unified gateway for model access, token usage and multimodal experimentation. Bring different providers into one manageable service layer.
01 / THE PROJECT
Developers need more than another API key. FewerTokens brings provider access, protocol adaptation, permissions and usage records together, so teams can connect models to their applications with a consistent integration surface. The implementation builds on the open-source New API ecosystem and extends it with a dedicated service experience and model comparison workspace.
02 / PRODUCT CAPABILITIES
Connect multiple providers behind familiar API interfaces and a shared service configuration.
Work across OpenAI Chat, Responses, Anthropic Messages and Gemini request and streaming formats.
Configure model mappings, channel priority, retry behavior and provider selection.
Inspect token consumption and request records, with quotas and model-specific accounting.
Compare text models and explore supported image and video workflows in one workspace.
Manage API keys, user groups, model permissions and administrative access.
03 / EXPLORE THE EXPERIENCE
A local walkthrough of the service layers behind a model call.
ILLUSTRATIVE WORKFLOW / 01
Use a familiar request shape while keeping upstream credentials on the service side.
POST /v1/chat/completions
Authorization: Bearer <your-service-key>
{
"model": "your-enabled-model",
"messages": [{"role": "user", "content": "Hello"}],
"stream": true
}ILLUSTRATIVE WORKFLOW / 02
The gateway checks access and routes the request through configured model and channel rules.
ILLUSTRATIVE WORKFLOW / 03
Bring streaming responses and usage records back into the same operational view.
Illustrative lifecycle — no live request or usage measurement.
Interactive illustration · sample content · no live model calls, account actions or current availability checks. Use the tabs or play a short walkthrough.
04 / BEHIND THE EXPERIENCE
Request and response conversion includes tool calls, reasoning settings, usage fields and per-stream state. Conversion diagnostics make format differences visible.
RelayKit and TokenKit isolate protocol conversion and token counting from transport, authentication and billing.
Task plugins integrate asynchronous media submission, status polling and output retrieval rather than forcing every model into a chat-only interface.
Provider configuration, request controls and usage records connect the API layer to a practical operations console.
